PURPOSE
To provide leadership, direction, and be a role model for other Cashiers and Team Members. Support and communicate clearly and effectively with subordinates, manager and guests. To ensure our guest’s experience is pleasant by greeting guests with a smile, accurately taking food orders, performing accurate cash handling/money transactions, and void refunds on the POS register.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct supervision and mentoring to cashiers by actively using verbal and written communication; i.e., memos, bulletin boards, etc.

Communicate with kitchen management and staff.

Greet guests with a smile and welcome them.

Take the order and suggest items that may enhance the meal and communicate the order to whomever is running the POS register at that time.

Ask the guest for feedback on their meal and invite them back.

Responsible for ensuring the outlet and equipment presents an organized and clean atmosphere to our guests.

Address and answer guest questions, complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner as defined by the departmental policies.

Operate POS register, handle cash accurately, complete daily register transactions and make deposit to vault.

Support Cashiers on the floor with cleaning floors, arranging tables, and helping keep floor stocked.

May be asked to expedite food orders depending on business and staffing levels.

Keep manager updated on business flow of restaurant.

Complete all required reports in a precise and timely fashion.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

One (1) year Restaurant and Cash Handling.

Computer of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Agilysys POS
