Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals dealing with various mental health issues. Your expertise in gender issues counseling, behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluation will be invaluable in helping our patients achieve their mental wellness goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their mental health needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD-10 to assess and diagnose mental health disorders
- Implement crisis intervention techniques when necessary to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the course of therapy
- Offer guidance and support to patients' families or caregivers as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, and motivational interviewing
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and their treatment options
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient caseload effectively
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Valid licensure as a Therapist in the state of [State]
