Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Testing Development: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing products.
- Automated Testing Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts and frameworks, focusing on Playwright to leverage its support for Typescript, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Functional and Performance Testing: Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify and document defects.
- Test Analysis and Improvement: Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Product Specification Review: Participate in the review of product specifications and requirements to ensure test-ability and quality.
- Issue Resolution: Work closely with the development team to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
- Documentation: Document test procedures, test results, and quality metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing. Continuously enhance testing processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- CI/CD Support: Support the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Best Practices Adherence: Ensure quality and re-usability by following best practices in script and function development. Maintain a focus on accuracy, speed, reliability, and re-usability of tests and scripts.
- Independent and Collaborative Work: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Reach out to team members for assistance, clarification, or to brainstorm ideas for implementing new features in the testing suite.
- Deadline Management: Understand project phase deadlines and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of software development life-cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. Able to understand, use, fix, and enhance testing/function libraries as necessary.
- Modern Testing Tools Experience: Familiarity with Playwright is highly preferred, given its multi-language support and compatibility with our existing code-base (Typescript/JavaScript).
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
