Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Corn Technician/ Grain Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of grain through various quality control measures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections on grain to ensure compliance with USDA standards
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems
- Perform quality control checks throughout the sampling process
- Monitor adherence to USDA standards
- Become licensed Grain Inspector
Skills:
- Pass basic color blindness and grain odor examination
- Data entry on USDA platform
- Generate grain certificates using USDA platform
- Motivated to get grading licenses
- Understanding USDA standards and regulations

Keokuk Grain Inspection Service is hiring all positions full and part time. Both salaried and Hourly Office manager for our Havana, IL location with USDA which also serves Adair, IL. Corn and soybean licenses 75k-100K per year with additional profit share and performance bonuses. Paid Training for motivated technicians to get grading licenses. Previous experience not required. Corn inspector at multiple rail facilities will average 50$ per hour. Technicians at rail facilities will average between 32$ and 42$ dollars per hour.
