Senior Nannies / Senior Care Solutions. One of Florida's largest providers of Home Care is expanding into Medicare patient care
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Florida State licensure in Occupational therapy.
Home care and Geriatrics needed
Medicare patient care a plus
Aquatics Therapy experience would be nice to have
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Pay is highly negotiable and competitive
Duties
Perform initial and ongoing reassessments before the 30th day to determine level of functioning and patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living, including OASIS assessments at appropriate time points.
Develop and revise a plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care-team members, which will enable patient to achieve realistic goals of self-care.
Provide Occupational therapy services as prescribed by a physician.
Apply therapeutic self-care and creative activities that are directed toward improving independence and physical and mental functioning.
Evaluate equipment needs to increase functional level of patient.
