Job description
We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation at our Best Western Dunkirk and Quality Inn locations. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
The goal is to find someone who's schedule is fairly open and available, to fit into the new schedule and be available to pick up off shifts if the need arises. Of course not many will be available every shift, every time, keep in mind hotels are 24/7/365. I would like to find someone who is able to work any of the 3 shifts (6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, 10:00pm-6:00am)
As of right now we are looking to fill: full time overnight shift. These shifts run from 10pm-6am. There would 5 shifts each week. These shifts will be set days, with no rotating schedule unless shifts need to be covered.
No need to worry about rotating schedule! This is a set schedule and will not change weekly unless there are circumstances that arise which make it impossible to maintain current schedule. You are allowed to voluntarily trade shifts with other employees during the week, as long as it is mutual, and it doesn't incur unnecessary overtime pay.
**If you have prior hotel experience (even if it was years ago) please include which hotel you worked, position, and dates of employment**
