Our client is accepting resumes for a Family Office Director responsible for coordinating all family business office functions and across all individual Family Office Managers. This includes coordinating office philanthropic, activism, and other investment efforts. They provide leadership, professional services, staffing resources, and business and financial guidance to the Family Office Managers.
The Family Office Director oversees the management and strategic development of the family office services and prepares financial statements, tax returns, and periodic portfolio reports for business-related services provided to the individual family offices. They will liaise with the lawyers, trustees, accountants, real estate brokers, and other external advisors regarding family-directed strategies and initiatives and are charged with family office tax and accounting activities. They maintain an environment of ethical standards and the family’s core values.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree.
- A valid Driver's License.
- CPA and/or MBA, preferred.
- Proven track record negotiating and managing transactions.
- Indisputable record of integrity and demonstrated commitment to the environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills towards direct subordinates.
- Well-developed quantitative skills, including proficiency with Excel, Quickbooks and other accounting systems.
- Family office experience and exposure to real estate, tax, or investment activities are a must.
- Cultural alignment is non-negotiable.

There is up to 20% travel required, as well as the ability to travel frequently to and from meetings or other family business-related events. This position directs and manages the Family Office Managers.
