General Responsibilities:
The Program Manager is an administrative and clinical supervisor for the residential program and is responsible to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the home. They will serve as a supervisor of all employees assigned to that location. The PM is responsible for the training and implementation of the clinical behavioral interventions and teaching strategies for individuals in the residential setting. The PM will develop the interventions in conjunction with Behavior Analysts and the Senior Clinician, ensuring that the programs developed are appropriate to the ages and populations served. In addition, the Program Manager will ensure that all requirements are met for acquiring and maintaining all applicable licenses, certifications and accreditations. The Program Manager serves as a supervisor of assigned residential homes.
Populations served are intensely physically challenging. The Program Manager position requires that staff be aware that individuals who are served may exhibit aggressive and / or self-injurious behavior. This requires the Program Manager to be constantly alert and ready to respond to the individual’s needs according to effective behavior analytic interventions.
Starting Salary: $55,120.00 (+) based on years of experience
Schedule:
Option 1: Monday- Thursday 12pm-8pm; Sunday 8am-4pm
Option 2: Tuesday- Friday 12pm-8pm; Saturday 8am-4pm
- on call days throughout the month 2pm-10pm
Basic Qualifications:
Education / Training: Bachelor’s Degree with two years’ experience with specialized populations or Master’s Degree with one-year experience with specialized populations.
Certifications / Licensure: A valid US driver’s license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention and Prevention. Board certification in Behavior Analysis or enrollment in Masters program preferred.
Skill(s): Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office. Possess strong teaching skills with emphasis on individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged. Ability to implement function based interventions for the reduction of challenging behaviors. Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
Experience: One to two years’ experience with specialized populations required as indicated above. Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is desirable.
