Title: Planning & Entitlements Coordinator
Immediate Supervisor: Planning & Entitlements Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
General Summary: The Planning & Entitlements Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the Planning, Entitlements, Due Diligence, and Operations functions of the Project Delivery team.
Essential Job Functions:

Assists in the review of site plans and development plans for conformance with codes, plans and regulations
-
Assists in the evaluation and preparation of reports that analyze land use regulations, zoning ordinances, development agreements, and infrastructure.

Manages residential monotony regulations by tracking the lot approvals, paint scheme approvals, and landscape through a GIS platform.

Prepares and issues homebuilder approval letters for permit submittal.

Administers and tracks design review submittals and approvals for residential and commercial design review committees

Establish, track, and manage impact fee credit banks. Proactive and ongoing coordination with builders to assign impact fee credits as needed

Manage and track concurrency submittals and approvals

Assist in the creation of maps and conduct data analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Conducts field evaluations and assessments
-
Perform other duties as requested
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:

Organized and detail oriented

Demonstrated experience using GIS

Knowledge of the principles and practices of planning and development
-
PC proficiency to include (but not limited to) Microsoft Office applications and GIS
-
Results-oriented team player with a high level of integrity

Ability to successfully manage cross functional relationships while ensuring accountability for deadlines and commitments

Ability to proactively identify critical path tasks and, without exception, execute on those tasks

Must be able to maintain a positive and productive work attitude and a team orientated mind-set with the ability to maintain good relations with employees, supervisors, governmental agencies and clients
