Pace Academy is an independent college preparatory school in Atlanta, Ga., with an enrollment of 1,150 students in Pre-First through 12th grade. The school provides a learning environment that cultivates global citizenship, a spirit of service, respect for differences and strong character in its students. Our commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture is reflected in a community in which differences are embraced, and students, parents, faculty and staff have a sense of belonging.
Pace seeks Lower School Substitute Teachers for the academic year. The Lower School is characterized by joy in learning and in discovery amongst students and teachers. The division enrolls 360 students from Pre-First through fifth grade, with three homerooms of approximately 20 students at each grade level. We hire enthusiastic and energetic professionals who are dedicated to teaching and who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.
The substitute teacher provides instruction, manages the classroom and promotes student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher in either a grade-level homeroom or in a special subject.
