We are seeking outstanding applicants for non-tenured/non-tenure track faculty positions.
Successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent extramurally funded research program and will have teaching duties which may include lecturing and mentoring in our various educational programs (see https://psychiatry.ucsd.edu/education-training/index.html).
Successful candidates' research focus will be in at least one of the areas of research expertise in the department, including, but not limited to, neurocognitive disorders, eating disorders, addiction, mood regulation, central nervous system signaling pathways, neuromodulation, genetics, biomarkers, learning and memory, and the endocannabinoid system (see https://psychiatry.ucsd.edu/research/programs-centers/index.html).
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.

As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited.
