QUALIFICATIONS:
- CALIFORNIA BAR LICENSE
- EDUCATION: JD from an accredited law school.
- LOCATION: Live and work experience in LA County.
- EXPERIENCE: 3-7 years of business and/or real estate litigation experience in LA County courts in a local law firm.
- COMMUNICATION: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- CHARACTER:
- Detailed oriented, diligent, and able to "hit the ground running."
- Accept criticism and direction well.
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and work ethic.
- Professional appearance.
- TECHNOLOGY: Advanced skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe, Dropbox, Zoom, Slack, Asana, Lexis, Rutters Guides. Home office in a quiet professional location (no background noise).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applicants must have experience and the ability to complete the following independently:
- Court Appearances (mostly remote, may be in-person): includes Case Management Conferences, Status Conferences, Final Status Conferences, Motions, Request for Orders, etc.).
- Relationship Management: Supervise Paralegal(s), Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsels, may need to come into office twice a month.
- Supervise/Delegate: Delegate, Revise, and Execute paralegal work product including Pleadings, Motions re: Service, Motions re: Default, Post Judgment, etc.
- Work Product:
- Prepare/Respond to Opposing Counsel Correspondence
- Prepare Discovery/Responses/Motions
- Prepare Trial Documents: Briefs, Witness Lists, and Exhibit Lists
- Billable Hours:
- Billable Hour Requirement: Minimum 6 hours per day
- Bonus: 7-8+ hours per day
- Other projects as assigned by Managing Attorney.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
