We're looking for a homeworking Travel Sales Consultant for our International Sales Team. Travel Sales Executives talk passionately about our products and offer a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide our customers into choosing a Riviera river cruise or yacht holiday that's perfect for them.

About the job
- Dealing with all inbound customer enquiries and converting these to bookings, as well as giving advice via live chat and email.
- Building rapport with our customers and travel agent partners, by providing professional, informative, and courteous service throughout.
- Receive inbound calls from our customers and travel agent partners, and to take ownership with supporting out guests through their booking journey.
- Make outbound calls to customers to follow up on potential bookings.
- Work closely with our North American sales team as well as our representatives in Australia, Europe, South Africa and beyond.
- Handle and convert group enquiries, creating contracts and including the applicable group perks, taking lead ownership of the group.
- Updating our internal systems and spreadsheets with accurate and crucial information.
- Daily administration tasks, which include monitoring all upcoming departures and ensuring we have collated all the required information through a check-book spreadsheet and updating daily.
- Creating travel documents including all relevant inserts and ensuring these are dispatched within the agreed timeframes and that the information is accurate. Quoting and booking transfers, sending transfer vouchers as part of their travel documents.
- Chasing balances and sending out PIF forms to ensure we have collated all the required information.
- Ensure enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently in line with SLAs and with the best outcome for the customer.
- Upholding Riviera's values within every aspect of the role. Delivering exceptional experiences both internally and externally.
About you
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- A demonstrated passion for travel and ideally sales experience within the travel industry.
- Thirst for knowledge and expanding your experience and skill set.
- A track record of building exceptional customer relationships within a sales driven environment and delivering operational excellence.
- Resilient to challenges and setbacks - this is a sales role; you'll need to stay motivated when things feel like they're not going your way.
- Comfortable working with systems and good level of literacy with Microsoft Office tools especially excel.
- Capable of managing own workload within a fast-paced environment, whilst focusing on multi-tasking a diverse workload and prioritizing accordingly.
- Ideally, you'd have experience working within a contact center environment.
- Proven ability to identify customer needs through questioning and information gathering.
- The motivation to go above-and-beyond for our customers.
