Job Description: As a Workers' Compensation Case Manager, you will handle a variety of tasks to support our clients through their workers' compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intakes for workers' compensation cases.
- Communicate daily with insurance companies for authorized treatments.
- Schedule doctor's appointments for clients.
- Verify client's insurance coverage through NJCRIB.
- Request client records from healthcare providers.
- Maintain heavy client contact regarding treatment, scheduling, wage loss, etc.
- Prepare adjournment requests for calendared Workers' Compensation matters.
- Scan demands and mail.
- Prepare and file Workers' Compensation Claim Petitions for Petitioners.
- Perform heavy filing duties.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm is required.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding and patient demeanor.
- High degree of drive to move tasks to completion.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional work ethic.
- Experience:
- Workers' compensation: 1-2 years (preferred).
- Neos/Needles case management system: 1 year (preferred).
- Language Skills: Bi-lingual proficiency is a must.
