We are a leading Ophthalmology group practice in South Bay. We are looking for a front office team member who thrives in a fast paced, highly detail-oriented team environment and knows how to "WOW" with customer service.
The candidate must be able to prioritize, have common sense and the ability to multi task.
The front desk plays a very important role within the practice as it is the "hub" of the practice ensuring safety, efficiency, positive communication, patient coordination, scheduling, and office flow.
The candidate must ENJOY working the front desk and have a willingness to learn and grow.
Responsibilities expected for this important role include:
- Entering/updating registration information, scanning etc.
- Answering & triaging calls, taking detailed messages and following through
- Managing the patient schedule, including confirming and moving appointments
- Warmly welcoming all patients, preparing paperwork, entering paperwork, triaging patient to clinical staff
- Being poised and articulate when answering patient questions in person and on the phone
- Having strong written and oral communication skills
- Maintaining cleanliness standards and a clean environment in the front office to ensure utmost patient experience, patient care and safety.
- Proficiency in computers, including EMR
