We are seeking a driven Customer Service Representative to join our team and contribute to our growth.
Job Description: As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for servicing wholesale and retail accounts via email and phone communications and facilitate orders managed through our e-commerce platform. This right person for this position must enjoy talking to people, be proactive, organized and very dependable.
Responsibilities:
- Service retail and wholesale customer sales orders to ensure orders are correct, shipped timely and received without issue. Proactively communicate product offerings, sales and specials to existing accounts on a regular basis
- Enter offline wholesale and retail orders into e-commerce system
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale clients
- Attend weekly sales meetings and provide reports and information as requested
- Provide timely and accurate information to clients and studio owners
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Provide reports and spreadsheets of sales activity as requested by accounting
- Promptly relay wholesale account’s requests and custom orders to all appropriate departments and key staff as necessary
- Maintain accurate timelines and delivery dates for wholesale account’s shipments and communicate with shipping, marketing, creative and production departments as needed
- Regularly review inventory in our e-commerce systems and communicate inventory needs promptly to key stakeholders
- Assist with yearly inventory as requested
- Assist with our off-site retail location as occasionally requested
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills, previous experience required
- Basic data entry skills and knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
- Highly organized and effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Shopify e-commerce and online retail platforms and other cloud-based apps
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative approach
- Enthusiastic about home decor and artistic products
- Must be available through-out the November-December holiday season as that is our busiest time of year
Compensation: This full-time, on site, Customer Service Representative position offers base wage of $27 an hour with an incentive structure based on individual performance, providing significant opportunities for financial growth.
