The Floating General Manager will provide additional support, training, and assistance to each of District Dogs' 6 DC & Northern VA locations, and reports to the Director of Operations. Frequent commuting to various locations is a requirement of this position and the qualified applicant must have reliable transportation.
The ideal candidate possesses the desire and ability to manage a fast-paced business at the highest level. This role includes responsibility for all facility operations, including, but not limited to, client experiences, staff management and coaching, task completion in all departments, facility cleanliness and upkeep, and ensuring a high level care for all dogs in the facility at all times. This role requires the following skills:

· Ability to monitor business reports to ensure all operations tasks are completed, including, but not limited to, owner balance reports, revenue reports, client reviews and feedback, and reports regarding facility volume and capacity.
· Ability to foresee and resolve potential business and staffing issues, including, but not limited to, weather changes, staff illness, staff availability, and current events.
· Ability to assist on-site staff with issues that arise while not physically present.
· Ability to resolve clients’ issues in a timely and respectful manner both on-site and remotely.
· Ability to monitor facility inventory and ensure proper stock of necessary supplies.
Additional Qualifications:
· Minimum high school education, with preference given to candidates with college education and 2+ years of business management experience.
· Must have a driver’s license and daily access to a personal vehicle.
· Must have a working cell phone.
· Flexibility and willingness to adjust work schedule to accommodate the fluctuating needs of a fast-paced business environment.
· Excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, databases.
· and data entry, email communication, Zoom, and social media platforms.
· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.
· Working knowledge of dog handling, behavior, and non-verbal communication.
· Ability to maintain judgment and calmness in stressful or time-sensitive situations.
· Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
· Demonstrated punctuality and a high level of dependability.
· Excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and subordinates.
· Ability to work both independently and as a part of a larger management team.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
