Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the medical practice, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage administrative staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and services.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring availability and cost-efficiency.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software to streamline operations.
- Practice marketing.
- Coordinate with rheumatology associations on the national and local levels
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical practice management or healthcare administration.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in EHR and practice management software (NextGen preferred)
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial reporting
