POSITION OVERVIEW
Inspect thermoformed finished goods (referencing technical and quality specifications) and properly package them in the appropriate shipping cartons
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Packages finished product according to customer pack specification
- Inspects product for quality defects.
- Perform all duties pertaining to the inspection and packaging of finished goods produced, including proper measurement, collection, and quality inspections of part stacks, appropriate separation of finished goods and defective scrap, and placement of part stacks within pre-assembled packaging cartons.
- Take appropriate measures to ensure all products are completed to production, quality, and technical specifications.
- Keep Operator/Assistant/Supervisor informed of critical issues which affect safety, quality, and production levels Assist the Thermoforming Operator and Assistant in the safe and efficient operation of the machine, up to and including, but not limited to the following: changeovers/machine setup, QA checks, daily 5S and audits.
- Support salvage/sorting activities as directed by Supervisor or Quality Assurance.
- Perform any task as directed by Supervisor, Team Leader, or Operator to support plant operations.
- Assist Operator in maintaining tool boards, machine boards, audits, check sheets, etc. Comply with and support enforcement of all policies and procedures, e.g., work rules, quality, GMP, Food Safety, etc. . Support Kaizen Events and/or other continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.

- Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of Amcor to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
- Maintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks.
- To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Amcor.
- Meet daily production goals and departmental objectives as directed.
- Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment. This includes applying Good Manufacturing Practices to meet plant goals. Reports daily on Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
- Perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work standing for 12.25 hour shift
- Able to withstand heat
Composite or steel toes shoes are required
