We are currently looking for a Meals on Wheels Program Coordinator to help oversee the running and operation of our Meals on Wheels program. The Meals on Wheels program services 6 counties in the region: Adams, Brown, Calhoun, Hancock, Pike, and Schuyler. This position is responsible for organizing all meal routes, working with volunteers, working with current and potential clients over the phone as well as in-home interviews, and data entry of information. It is a position with a lot of fulfillment and helping those in your communities get the assistance they need.

Qualifications:
· GED/High school diploma
· Computer skills including word processing program and spread sheet programs.
· Be organized and able to deal with the public
Duties:
1. Organize in town and out of town routes.
2. Organize volunteers or paid staff for all routes.
3. Organize and arrange frozen meal clients pick up locations.
4. Train paid staff on out of town routes.
5. Provide meal reports to the kitchen for hot meal and frozen meal needs.
6. Fill in for paid staff for out of town routes as well as in town routes as the demand dictates.
7. Perform phone interviews with potential clients to determine their need for meals, either home delivered or frozen meal service. Complete the client verification form and give copies to the Administrative Assistant.
8. Data entry for clients including personal information, dietary and delivery information.
9. Help with billing on a monthly basis and statistics for the program.
10. Print off and fill out daily route card and label information.
11. Call potential volunteers for in town routes.
12. Perform other tasks as the kitchen or meals plus needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
