Catering Manager/Coordinator

Arizona’s #1 Mexican Coffee Shop is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for our customers and is looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Catering Manager/Coordinator to join our team and elevate our exceptional catering services.
As the Catering Manager/Coordinator at Tres Leches Café, you will be the driving force behind our catering operations. You will manage all aspects of our catering services, from initial client consultation to event execution, ensuring every event exceeds expectations. Your role will involve coordinating with clients, managing catering staff, and overseeing the preparation and delivery of catering orders. You will also be responsible for developing new catering packages and expanding our client base.
What the job looks like:
- Maintaining positive relationships with clients and vendors.
- Answering questions from prospects.
- Marketing our catering business. (Don’t worry, we won’t make you do cold calls)
- Answering customer questions and supporting their catering needs.
- Working alongside the customer to prepare a menu for their event.
- Managing a catering team, including training and delegating tasks for planned events.
- Working with customers on their budget to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Taking care of the food preparation, delivery, and setup.
We’ll give you the tools needed to succeed! You’ll have:
- Access to our Square Point of Sale system to process orders and track sales.
- Access to the company truck for events.
- And you get to work closely with the baristas and the social media and marketing team to develop innovative and appealing menu options.
Requirements:
- Speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish is required.
- Sales experience required.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service management is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of catering industry trends and best practices.
- Excellent commutation over phone and in person is required.
