Position Responsibilities:

Scheduling patients for physical and orthopedic occupational therapy at ORA Physical Therapy clinics and other facilities where applicable
- Providing patients with information about ORA Physical Therapy services, physical therapists, and what to expect
- Tracking inbound capture rate on a periodic basis; responsible for meeting patient capture rate metrics

Sending therapy orders to outbound therapy clinics when applicable

Responsible for administration of the patient therapy orders que and pending insurance verifications and authorizations
- Assisting with verifying insurance benefits and authorizations
- Assists in the administration of FOTO and FOTO systems

Updating and maintaining all therapy scheduling coordinator systems and spreadsheets

Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPPA rules and regulations
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Customer service and appointment scheduling experience in a medical office or therapy clinic preferred

Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately
