Job Title: Administrative and Operations Assistant
Job Description:
Pendu Manufacturing is seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role requires a versatile individual who can handle various administrative tasks efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to purchasing, accounts payable, and answering phones.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
Purchasing:
- Coordinate purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders for office supplies, equipment, and other necessary items.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Assist with expense tracking and budget management.
Answer Phones:
- Manage incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Direct calls to appropriate individuals or departments.
- Take messages and relay them accurately to the intended recipient.
**Possible Secondary Responsibilities:**
Scheduling/Planning:
- Work with Planner to setup Work Orders to properly flow through production facility
- Assist with distribution of Production word orders
Develop Marketing Material:
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop content and design elements.
- Keep email list up to date and work with Mail Chimp to send out monthly updates
General Office Duties:
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
