Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals following established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Plan menus that are nutritious, appetizing, and visually appealing
- Coordinate catering services for special events or functions
- Handle food safely and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Utilize knives and other kitchen equipment effectively
- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet residents' dietary needs
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members
