**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individual educational programs for students ages 7-10, with our student teacher ratio of 1:10. We are a small intimate private school located on 8.5 acres with gardens farm animals. We believe that children learn through individualized instruction that meets their learning styles and needs.
**Duties:**
- Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum guidelines
- Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom lessons
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Educate students on various subjects including literacy education, math and science.
- Offering extra curricular activities to enrich children learning.
- Create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Monitor student progress through various assessment methods
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Homeschool parents are encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in literacy education.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
