Take loan applications and pre-approve loans.
You will work for a top-producing loan officer and will typically be the first person that a borrower speaks with. You will take loan applications and request the documentation necessary to pre-approve a loan so that the loan officer is better prepared to consult with the borrower. Speaking confidently and professionally with home loan applicants and referral partners is important in this position. You will follow up with people referred to the loan officer to get their application and pre-approve their loan. We receive leads from real estate agents, builders, past and current clients, and business associates. We provide a white-glove service; communication is done by phone and Zoom in addition to email and CRM automation.
Manage pre-approved loans from application through submission to underwriting.
After taking or receiving an online application your job is to request the documentation required to determine if the borrower qualifies for a loan and then to issue the pre-approval letter. The loan officer will meet or consult with the client regarding their qualification. While the buyer is searching for a home, you will be the primary point of contact, answering questions for the buyer, including payment, down payment, and cash-to-close questions. You will also provide updated pre-approval letters to the buyers and their agents as needed. Meeting daily with the loan officer is important to adjust priorities and to provide high-touch service to referral partners and borrowers. You will disclose loans and verify accuracy before delivery to borrowers.
Maintain accurate information in the loan officer’s CRM from lead through closing.
Track and follow up on leads in our CRM from the initial point of contact through pre-approval. Conversations are logged in the CRM so that all team members are aware of the status and stage of a client. Detailed loan information and critical dates are tracked in the CRM.
