Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Onsite Pinon Health Center, Pinon Arizona
Pinon Health Center provides care to approximately 11,000 patients - the majority of which are Navajo, and many are traditional Navajo who still speak the language.
Over $80.00 per hour in Compensation. Total compensation will be $3,400 per week which consists of $48.25 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek, plus $1,470 JTR (per diem), which covers travel, housing, meals. This position is considered nonexempt for purposes of federal wage and hour law, which means that you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek. Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times your base rate.
Work schedule will be a "D9" Schedule, meaning 4 days a week, 9 hours per day, with every other Friday off.
Required Thirty-six (36) months of Nursing experience and/or ER experience.
Working Shift:

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with one-hour lunch

Thursday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with one hour lunch

Totaling 40 hours a week
Overtime: Working longer hours if patient load demands are present and rotating shifts to provide coverage in the Outpatient, Women's Health, Pediatric and/or Urgent Care Clinic and (if necessary) to work at Outpatient and Inpatient Departments Sunday to Saturday. (40 hours)
Daily Duties

Perform Nursing duties and manage patient's needs.
- Provide comprehensive, skilled, and competent nursing care specific to the age of the patients (neonate, infant, school-age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric, based on nursing assessment, the nursing process, the providers plan of care, where condition and treatments can range from non-critical to critical.

Must have knowledge of the nursing process and its application to clinical practice in order to provide individualized, goal-oriented nursing care to the neonate, infant, school-age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient(s).

Must have knowledge of scientific and psychosocial nursing theory, principles, practices, and techniques in order to plan and provide-quality nursing care which meets the physical, spiritual, and social-cultural needs of the Indian patient.

Operates and mentors specialized equipment such as respiratory equipment, thematic deceives, suction devices, defibrillator, electrocardiographs, etc., reports malfunctions to Bio-Med and /or Maintenance as needed.

Interviews patients, family members, and others to appropriately determine triage classification determines and evaluates appropriate interventions for patients in life threatening situations.

Requirements:

Minimum thirty-six (36) months of nursing experience and/or ER experience.

Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

Applicants must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in the State of Arizona

Required Certifications:
- Current Driver's License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is Mandatory for Urgent Clinic

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is optional.
