Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MRI principles, exceptional technical skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Imaging: Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as requested by physicians.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Safety: Ensure patient safety by following established protocols, including screening for contraindications to MRI (e.g., metal implants).
- Positioning: Position patients accurately and comfortably on the MRI table, using immobilization devices as necessary.
- Quality Control: Monitor image quality during and after the procedure, making adjustments as needed to obtain the best possible images.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and images in accordance with departmental policies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on MRI equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and report any issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Skills: Strong technical skills with the ability to operate complex MRI equipment. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as required. Capability to stand for extended periods.

Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,000.00 per week
