We need someone with your therapeutic communication, team-building, and keen decision-making skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our Hemodialysis center, which will lead to optimal patient safety and positive outcomes.
In this role, you will work in a culturally diverse environment and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to continuously improve service delivery and the quality of care. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership, consultation, and evaluation of activities and services for patients undergoing dialysis treatment in both chronic and acute settings. In addition, you will:
· Lead and direct all nursing and quality management initiatives
· Develop strategic plans and policies to improve quality of care in the program
· Prepare and update nursing care plans based on diagnosis and educate patients on treatment options
· Oversee nursing and ancillary staff, including training, evaluation, and competencies
· Ensure effective systems are in place to comply with regulatory, quality and safety standards/regulations
We want to hear from you if you:
· Are a graduate of an accredited Nursing Program – Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
· Possess at least 5 years of experience as a Staff RN in both chronic and acute hemodialysis treatment
· Have demonstrated progressive leadership abilities in a hemodialysis program
· Hold a current New York State RN license and BCLS certification
· Have basic PC proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills
