Custom Fabricating & Repair, Inc. (CFR) is offering another great opportunity to join our team! We are currently seeking motivated, safety minded individuals for a Field Installation Assistant position.
Overview: This individual would coordinate with the field installation crew coordinator to ensure that proper tools, rental equipment, and vehicles are accurately recorded, monitored, and tracked. This position has direct responsibility for all equipment tracking, vehicle tracking/ assigning, and tools on each specific job site.
Starting Wage: $20-$22 per hour
Area of Responsibility:
Personnel:
Continually works to maintain accurate records of all tools, equipment, and vehicles located at each job site as well as at the shop.
Communicates closely with Field Install Crew Coordinator to assign proper tools and equipment to each job site, as well as what vehicles are necessary and/ or rental equipment.
Communicates regularly with maintenance department to evaluate any broken equipment that need be replaced and to maintain an accurate vehicle maintenance log of all vehicles.
Works with management to establish effective methods of transferring equipment from job site to job site, and to develop accurate logs of all equipment.
Equipment:
Perform, at random job site audits to ensure equipment is located where it is supposed to be.
Unload all incoming equipment, inventory, and load equipment for the next project.
Document all items that need repair and log appropriately.
Works with appropriate rental companies to set up accounts for job sites and maintains weekly, a current list of rental equipment on each job site.
Document the condition of vehicles when returned to the CFR Campus (Pictures & Notes).
Ensure all CFR vehicles are in good, clean condition prior to leaving the shop.
Administrative:
Maintains a master log of all equipment, vehicles, and location.
Coordinates with Field Install Crew Coordinator to determine what equipment is needed.
Works closely with Safety to ensure all equipment meets safety requirements.
Works closely with Maintenance to ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be organized, and detail orientated with the ability to travel as well as do the manual loading/ unloading trailers and trucks.
Qualifications
Current Driver's License Required
Experience in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in Microsoft Word.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stay cool and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced PC Skills.
Ability to operate Forklift.
Self-starter with motivation to succeed.
Teamwork – shows a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
