Position
Our clinical research client is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a crucial role that will assist the entire research team in successful completion of our ground-breaking clinical trials.
Company
Our client is a Clinical Research site network with over 15 research sites across the seven states. Their sites conduct Phase I-IV trials in therapeutic areas like cardiology, metabolic disorders, renal, CNS, pulmonology, and vaccines.
Responsibilities
- Performing specialized functions necessary to assist research professionals.
- Specialized functions/areas include, but are not limited to the following: sterile compounding, medication history, inventory control, medstation maintenance, unit inspection and packaging.
- Utilizes requisite equipment, non-sterile and/or compounding supplies and computer systems as appropriate for the procurement, preparation for verification and/or delivery of medication.
- Performs quality control procedures and contributes to the maintenance of the pharmacy, equipment and supplies.
- Assumes responsibility for at least one pharmacy related project outside of normal job duties determined by supervisor/manager including workflow redesign, performance improvement, safety, quality control, regulatory, administrative, staff development and technology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician within a hospital or clinical research setting
- National Certification with PTCB or NHA a plus!
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to heavily multitask
- Work independently and with others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
