ABOUT THE ROLE
Registration Managers’ primary role is to lead external deliverables, serving as direct client and partner liaison while supporting registration for internal teams. Projects may include both in-person and virtual experiences for conferences, industry meetings, trade shows, product launches, press events, speaker management, private parties, and other branded experiences.

- Work schedule to average ~43 hours/week but based on project demands potential for work weeks to reach up to 60 hours for short periods
- Potential for on-site travel to support overall event execution and lead functional areas, including local, domestic, and international travel during weekdays, after hours, and weekends. On-site event work hours to be mutually agreed upon
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client, Partner and Team Communication
- Potential to manage internal and partner event teams
- Responsible for clearly communicating scope and hours to team members, ensuring capture in forecasts and responsible for tracking all-up to stay within scope across invoicing months
- Ability to delegate deliverables to team and inspect performance
- Lead internal and external registration conversations and/or meetings, ensures accuracy of information presented by any internal event team members
- Includes in-person meetings and communication via phone, email, collaborative cloud-based tools, and/or video calls
- Leveraging independent judgement and discretion, partner with client, partners, and event team on event strategy to ensure that client and event experience goals are met
- Research, implement, and document new registration solutions and platforms
- Accurately manage event alias inboxes while providing responsive and professional attendee communications
- Maintain and grow partner relationships for registration, housing, travel and communications
- In anticipation of new projects or events, partners with manager and Leadership Team to develop request for proposals (RFP’s) ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
Project Management
- Create and manage registration documents or inputs (budget, event plan, workback schedule, etc.) and ensure event team accuracy of inputs
- Provide ongoing registration reporting and analysis throughout project lifecycle
- Establish hotel relationships and research rates for internal teams Seek new business opportunities and maintain a growth mindset
- Ensure all contractual obligations are delivered within event and event hotel contracts and receive proper review and approvals from client as well as legal teams
- Understand corporate brands and translate client vision and goals into a registration experience

Internal Deliverables
- Track work hours daily to ensure accurate and timely reporting and client billing
- Submit detailed and accurate business expenses prior to close of monthly billing cycle
- Will partner with client relationship manager to support SOW estimates related to registration services
- Will review registration vendor SOW’s, driving scope conversations with and negotiating cost-savings
- Share project debriefs internally, contribute to internal resources, and ensure accuracy of event calendar and metrics tracking
- Employ designated internal or client templates and standards consistently when managing event documents (to include work back schedule, calendars, meeting agendas, event communications, on-site event plans)
- Will begin managing team brainstorms to foster team collaboration
- Create and refine registration templates and processes
- Participate in internal PEC programs and events
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year university preferred
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience successfully managing events and vendor companies
- Employee must lift and/or move up to 30 pounds on a regular basis

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
