Job Summary:
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the behavioral health organization operates in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. This includes developing and implementing compliance programs, monitoring and auditing activities, and providing guidance and training to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
-Obtain Licensures for mental health and substance use facilities in different states
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Investigate potential compliance issues and violations, and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to relevant staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Compliance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare compliance or a related field.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.19 - $31.56 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
