We specialize in Luxury Modern Home Staging with neutral palettes that appeal to most home buyers. Our designs generally incorporate mid-century modern, transitional, and eclectic elements. We are looking for a creative Home Stager to join our home staging team! You will get the opportunity to work and train directly under Ty Karger, the principal designer and owner of the company. We're looking for a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail who is willing to work hard, develop their talents, and help the business succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and installation of assigned Home Staging projects
- Walk Through and take necessary measurements of rooms to be staged
- Plan furniture layout and color scheme for spaces to stage
- Select furniture, artwork, and accessories from warehouse inventory to pack for homes to stage. Assist in packing decors.
- Install furniture, hang up artwork, and place accessories according to an agreed plan with the help of movers and a staging assistant.
- May be asked to source and purchase furniture and accessories from time-to-time.
Candidate Requirements:
- >1year of experience in Home Staging, Interior Design, Prop Styling, Visuals Design or Interior Styling fields
- College Degree or Associate Degree in design field is preferred but not required. Minimum educational requirement for this position is a High-School Diploma + work experience in the interior design field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD spatial layout or interior design softwares such as Sketchup and Revit is preferred but not required.
- Creative and passionate about interior design
- Self-motivated, works well in a team both as a team player and a leader
- Problem solver, able to make independent decisions with minimal guidance from supervisor. Able to come up with solutions independently to problems at hand.
- Able to provide directions to assistants and movers to lead the team to complete each installation.
- Extremely organized and can communicate ideas to supervisor and teammates well visually and verbally.
- Possess basic computer skills such as e-mail communications, spreadsheet, slides presentation and word documentation software operations.
- A part of this job can be physical. The candidate must be able to lift at least 25lbs. Possess or be willing to learn installation skills such as hanging up pictures, drilling walls, etc.
- Must own and operate their own vehicle. The job will require traveling to and from the warehouse and staging sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
