BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Business Administration Department for Fall 2024. Opening available in the following course:
CIT-110 Applications/Concepts
This survey course covers the use and application of modern computer systems. This course includes detailed coverage of fundamental computer concepts, terminology, applications, and theory. Students will get extensive 'hands-on' personal computer experience and gain a good working knowledge of MS WINDOWS and MS OFFICE. Upon completion of this course, students will have a grasp of important computer concepts and terminology, an understanding of INTERNET use and applications, a high degree of competence with personal computer hardware and software, as well as an understanding of the effects of information technology on the individual, organizations, and society. All Learner Outcomes and Competencies in this course are based on accepted, published ICT Industry Standards.
Offerings available in the following modality, days, and times:
- Mondays, In-person, 10AM-11:15AM, 11:30AM-12:45PM, 1:00PM-2:15PM
- Tuesdays, In-person, 11:30AM-12:45PM
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in related field or Master's Degree in any field combined with related work experience.
- Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom. College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred.
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
Additional Information:
Salary: $1,397.00/per credit hour
