Job Description
Job purpose
Support Company team members and act as a liaison for employees, supervisors, and managers. Assist in the development of team members to align with company's culture, increase employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and maintain the Company image.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support team members (Daily activities including facility walks/ Greet Cheerfully, exercises, etc.)
- Provide day-to-day support in all functional areas of Human Resources in a production environment by complying with employments laws and company guidelines.
- Administer and communicate company policy and procedure.
- Promote Coaching/Counseling/Mentoring mindset when dealing with employee issues.
- Administer progressive disciplinary action based on Company policy and precedence.
- Follow up with team members to answer questions and concerns.
- Assist in maintaining authorized headcount through staffing and direct hire onboarding practices.
- Maintain the internal job posting process including interviews, candidate selections and processing.
- Maintain employee personnel, medical, I9 e-files based on Company policy.
- Conduct new hire orientation for new employees.
- Ensure that the Department of Labor (DOL) requests are completed within the given timelines.
- Represent the company at the DOL hearings and appeals that the company receives.
- Conduct separation paperwork, exit interviews of exiting team members.
- Ensure I9 compliance for all hires through the E-Verify system.
- Serve as liaison between Company management and team members.
- Administer and participate in safety program.
- Promote Company image, through participation and demonstration of Company visions.
- Support and plan employee appreciation events, and discount programs
- Completion of Time and Attendance related task daily to support accurate payroll.
- Service employees in all areas including benefits, issues and concerns.
- Support other Human Resources team members as required.
- Special projects as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) skills
- Strong communications skills/ Including public speaking.
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to multitask.
- English language competency and legible writing ability
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing facility
- Previous HR experience

Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the team member must have the ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions; reach with hands and arms; ascend stairs; balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear, and sit or stand for extended periods of time. In addition, the team member must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
