Overview:
JOB SUMMARY
Provides the provision of appropriate nursing support and implementation of evidence-based measures that ensure the well-being of patients receiving care and treatment in the imaging setting, which includes adequate and safe monitoring of patients before, during, and after interventional procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: PICC certification or PICC competency preferred. Prefer someone who has six months experience in critical care or the emergency room (within the past three years). Radiology nursing experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Able to work and multitask in a fast-pace environment; effectively managing, prioritizing and delegating patient care and completing work assignments and other duties, as assigned. Has a general knowledge of all areas of nursing practice to include understanding of sedation. Demonstrates knowledge of common disease process, treatment modalities and interventions.
License/Certifications: Current active California Registered Nurse License, current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS
Equipment: Computers, monitors, printer, fax, photocopier, pneumatic tube system, Omnicell, telephone, IV pumps, and Sherlock 3 CG system.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$46.50 - $70.09

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
