Job Description:
Estimates job costs and creates quotes based on the part assembly requirements, customer requirements, and application experience.
Essential Job Functions:
· Process customer RFQs by providing quotations and pricing breakdowns to the Epic Account Managers.
· Take quote lineups from Epic Account Managers or directly from the customer.
· Work directly with Epic Account Managers to determine machine layouts and concepts for quoting.
· Obtain component pricing and quotes from vendors.
· Provide pricing breakdowns for all quotes with detailed labor and purchased material content.
· Some RFQs will require a customer-specific pricing breakdown.
· Process any follow-up information requested by Epic Account Managers.
· Maintain a pricing reference guide for purchased components.
Skills and Experiences:
· Technical knowledge of assembly machinery processes and industry-preferred techniques.
·Specific knowledge of assembly machinery, as to powertrain assembly, axle, and transmission assembly.
· Experience with AutoCAD and or Solidworks is preferable.
· The ability to create simple assembly line layouts and visual machine concepts.
· Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
· Must have valid driver's license. #IND
