ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; however other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Processes bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for Salem Five Mortgage Co, LLC & Salem Five Insurance Services, LLC.
- Serves as primary backup for the Payroll/HR Specialist for all functions.
- Primary UKG Business Intelligence reporting specialist for all HR disciplines.
- Participates in the Annual Evaluation/Compensation Review Process for staff and management.
- Assists Compensation and Systems Manager with various quarterly, annual, and year-end items including but not limited to bonus calculations, compensation surveys, W-2 processing and quarterly and annual returns.
- Assists VP, Compensation & Benefits Manager with Benefit and HR budgets in addition to other benefit related activities.
- Conducts various audits as needed.
- Reconciles on a monthly basis applicable payroll general ledger and bank DDA accounts.
- Completes job leveling/grading.
- Processes unemployment claims.
- Calculates net to gross figures in payroll.
- Generates blended overtime rate reports.
- Completes employment verifications.
- Works on various special projects when needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of Associate’s Degree from two-year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), Internet research capabilities, e-mail communications systems required.
