Summary:
The Senior Biomedical Technician is required to perform scheduled procedures, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and modification on Critical Medical/Clinical/Respiratory patient care equipment. This associate assists with training and technical advice to Biomedical Technicians. Maintains compliance with JCAHO, federal, state, local standards and regulations. Supports the mission, values and strategic aims of Cook Children's Health Care System. This associate is required to act independently under stressful conditions.

- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or military training equivalent.
- Ten (10) years experience in the Clinical/Biomedical repair field.
Certification/Licensure:
- AAMI CBET or CRES certification required.
