The UCSF Department of Surgery at Zuckerberg San Francisco General provides surgical services for the benefit of our patients and professional colleagues twenty-four hours each day, seven days a week. Our Trauma Center
excels in the care of patients with injuries, burns, complex wounds, surgical infections and patients requiring surgical critical care.
As the Administrative Analyst, this position will be responsible for providing financial, operational and analytic support for up to 3 trauma surgeons in the Department of Surgery at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG).
The individual will act as a high-level liaison between the faculty leadership, administrators, medical center administration, colleagues at national institutions and other Universities, public officials, and other persons outside the University. Administrative tasks will include complex calendaring, expense reports, purchasing supplies, drafting correspondence, taking meeting minutes, preparing itineraries, agendas, meeting documents, arranging detailed travel plans, and coordinating events.
This position requires a high level of independence and autonomy, excellent communication skills, and will be expected to learn and understand the institutions’ policies (UCSF, UC Medical Center, and other foundations, organizations, and institutions) to resolve issues and implement Division policies for activities.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
