Job Summary
The Department of Family and Community Medicine seeks a motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide primary care in an ambulatory setting.
The complexity of this service line requires an in-depth knowledge of the multiple aspects of primary care. A successful applicant will provide a continuum of care and the ability to develop a thorough health care care plan for their patients. They should have a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education as well as a responsibility for ensuring an environment of safe, quality care.
Advanced Practice Provider should demonstrate an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, and professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills. They will ensure their documentation is both timely and compliant, and will take responsibility for their ongoing professional development and competency validation.
