Look no further – we’re seeking a dynamic Water Resources Engineer to plan and design, and/or facilitate the execution of stormwater and water resources related engineering design. Your role will vary from guiding and supporting multi-disciplined large-scale designs; to leading and producing watershed management plans, resiliency studies, preliminary engineering reports/feasibility studies, drainage engineering reports, and letter of map revisions (LOMR) applications. You will collaborate with our team of planners, landscape architects, environmental scientists, drafters, and engineers as needed to ensure projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaboration: Work with project teams in identifying and developing drainage and stormwater management approaches associated with municipal civil infrastructure projects and various land development related projects.
· Technical Support: Technical responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, water quality and stormwater management, floodplain analysis, stormwater conveyance, watershed modeling, master Stormwater management plans, permit applications, resiliency planning, FEMA Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs), and environmental permitting. Knowledge of H&H modeling and GIS is essential for performing these tasks.
· Client Interaction: Attend client meetings and provide support as needed for various project tasks, offering professional insights and guidance to meet their project goals.
· Client Presentations: Participate in and assist with client presentations, helping to convey project ideas and designs effectively to clients and stakeholders.
· Project Management Assistance: Support the management of small and large-sized projects, prepare and maintain project schedules, track project financials, prepare status reports.
Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; or comparable engineering degree.
· Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida; or ability to obtain within 12 months.
· 4+ years' experience in stormwater management and water resources.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review compliance with municipal codes.
· Experience with permitting through local government and water management districts.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including high Excel proficiency.
· Familiarity with ICPR 4, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and/or similar software
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Work Environment: This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, plotters, and scanners.
