This position is responsible for the overall management activities of certain food & beverage outlets, including the three-meal restaurant, room service and the coffee/deli shop.
Among its responsibilities are planning, organizing, directing and coordinating outlet operations; to ensure efficient operation of department; staffing, training, scheduling of employees so that they are capable of delivering a quality product which exceeds the guests expectations and hotel standards in a friendly and professional manner.
Associate of Science degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service Management preferred;
Thorough knowledge of all matters related to the proper administration of "up-scale" food service operations to include knowledge of wines and wine service;
Five years progressive management experience in hotel or free standing "quality" food service operation preferably with multi unit responsibility;
Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria;
Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills;
Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays; and
stable work history required.
Must have or be willing to obtain Clark County Health Card and Alcohol/TAM card.
