Job Title: Customer Service Representative Account Manager
Job Summary: Fortis is seeking a dedicated and passionate Client Service Representative (CSR) Account Manager to join our team. Location: Greater Knoxville Area, TN (remote – preferably in the East TN area)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process endorsement requests, cancellations, billing inquiries, and day-to-day service-related issues promptly, adhering to best practice standards. Communicate these processes to clients as necessary.
· Create and update benefit guides and employee communications.
· Update client and carrier platforms with client changes.
· Manage customer service issues effectively.
· Assist in marketing and analyzing carrier quotes and data for clients.
· Prepare annual open enrollment files and documents.
· Organize and maintain client data files.
· Research and stay updated on changes in products, regulations, and policies at both state and federal levels that may affect clients' business operations.
· Develop and implement wellness activities.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
· Minimum of two years of experience in employee benefits, including group medical, dental, life, and other ancillary products.
· Thorough understanding of employee benefit plans, regulations, and administration, as well as HR administration and Health Care Reform.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a small team.
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
· Resident State Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License (required to be obtained within 60 days)

Schedule: Full-Time Position: remote with occasional in-person meetings/training. Must be able to have flexibility in schedule hour changes/requirements during months of 4th Quarter (October – December).
