Full-Time Maintenance Technician @ KSA Property Management

Summary/Objective:
As a Maintenance Technician your duty is to work collaboratively with all team members on specific short-term and long-term projects related to the upkeep of the properties. In this role, you will perform tasks delegated to you by the property manager, project manager and/or project coordinator, as well as oversee all tasks delegated to subcontractors and service providers to ensure that the project is moving forward on time and on budget. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to motivate others and keep them on task in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position. As a Maintenance Technician you may be required from time to time to be available 24/7 for assistance on handling emergency maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various systems and appliances within the properties.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in emergency response situations, including after-hours calls as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Flexibility to be on-call for emergencies and work occasional evenings or weekends.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
