Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high levels of performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions following best practices.
- Configure and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability.
- Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats.
- Develop scripts for automation tasks to streamline network operations.
- Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) for network-related projects.
- Integrate APIs for efficient communication between different systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in network administration and design.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols, IP networking, and network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Ubuntu and CentOS operating systems.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Ansible for automation tasks.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN).
- Understanding of cloud networking principles.
- Certification in network technologies such as CCNA or CCNP.
