CRANE TECHNICIAN
We partner with our customers to design and implement solutions for the world’s most complex material-handling needs. We are currently looking for a Sr Crane Technician to join our growing team in the Houston, Texas area.
Responsibilities
● Assemble, install, wire and commission industrial overhead cranes at customer sites across the U.S.
● Perform preventative maintenance on overhead cranes.
● Inspect mechanical and electrical systems on overhead cranes.
● Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, as well as AC and DC electrical systems.
Education/Experience
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● At least 1 year of experience in a related industry.
● Ability to read blueprints and use metrological instruments such as micrometers.
● Basic organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
● Skills in one or more of the following areas are preferred: Millwright work, iron work, pipefitting, electrical meters, basic machining, basic welding and rigging.
Requirements
● Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
● Successful passage of a background check and drug screen.
● Ability to regularly move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
● Ability to travel up to 50%, as needed.
● Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
● Ability to work in confined spaces, and climb to heights which may exceed 150 ft.
● Willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends as required by workload.
● Willingness to observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
● Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
