Builds strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement. Assesses, collects and provides data or analysis of assigned tasks, works independently or on a team to provide facts to improve material understanding of issues/problems. Assists with organizational benchmarking against best practice, and challenges service delivery performance in an effective, constructive and supportive manner. Collects, analyzes, and disseminates data and information with attention to detail and accuracy. Uses Electronic Health Records, as well as relevant financial software, as data sources for information and other tools as required. Works with insurance payers on meeting goals for quality and performance improvement measures. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate.
Initiates, develops and directs quality/performance improvement programs and processes. Collaborates with managers and staff to promote, design, and implement performance improvement activities across the organization. Manages multiple programs or initiatives simultaneously. Designs and conducts ongoing evaluation of the success, validity, and reliability of assigned programs, processes and outcomes measures. Coordinates with leadership regarding strategic initiatives. Produces data analysis trends and reports on how to improve processes and performance to deliver optimal healthcare.
Assists with the physician Work Relative Value Unit targets reporting. Participates in internal and/or external audit requests. Actively participates in applicable committees. Develops presentations and data for the Head of Clinical Operations and/or COO and CMO. Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems. Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients. Supervises Federal Work Study, Interns or other support staff. Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Provides guidance and support to leadership on quality. Supports strategic planning, operations and fiscal management from a quality and performance perspective. Assists with data collection, analysis and reporting related to quality, and performance improvement activities. Assists with development, evaluates and implements clinical policies and procedures. Manages coding statistical data and prepare reports and direction to other billing staff.
Maintains confidentiality of all personal health information. Assures that information is maintained, handled, and released in accordance with applicable federal and state statutes and FMPP, FSU College of Medicine policies. Must demonstrate aptitude to identify appropriate educational resources. Strong PC skills to include Microsoft applications, practice management systems, and electronic health records. Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task, paying strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good oral and written communication skills.
Attends and participates in scheduled departmental/Clinical meetings and other meetings or committees as directed. Attends presentations, training and mandatory education programs.
