Job Description: Outside Sales Representative
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the Austin, TX territory.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify potential B2B and B2C customers through research, networking, and cold calling. Develop a robust pipeline of qualified leads. Be a prospector. You MUST be expecting to go and hunt for deals on your own and hit a quota.
- Client Engagement: Meet with potential and existing clients to understand their needs, present products or services, and provide customized solutions
- Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Provide excellent customer service and follow up regularly
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Territory Management: Manage and grow sales within a specific geographic territory. Plan and organize daily work schedule to efficiently cover the assigned territory
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to achieve company objectives
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an outside sales representative or similar role
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the Austin territory as needed
- License: Valid driver’s license

- Base pay of $45,000 and a commission earned for each deal sold. Estimated year one earnings for an average sales person is $80,000 - $95,000.
